the kitchenette in my premier suite was convenient for storing food i purchased. the bed was comfortable i slept well.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The location proved very convenient for shopping. I also found travel to be simple from here.

There was no plan B, so finding cold drinks or wine proved difficult despite the premium room rates. This was a real drawback. The room service had limited availability.

The location was convenient, near transportation and attractions. The staff was helpful and quick to respond to emails prior to my arrival. My room was large and comfortable, a plus.

I waited quite a while for a poached egg at breakfast. The waitress said it takes 10 minutes to prepare a poached egg. She mentioned my order had not been passed on to the kitchen. I was unable to have breakfast, so I requested a refund. I did not think this was acceptable.

The room included a kitchenette. It also had a firm mattress. Views to the canal were present from the windows. I found this so calming.

shower mold weak soundproofing

The room was definitely showing its age. there was mold in the shower (i mean, seriously?) and some water damage around the sink. also, one of the ceiling lights was practically falling apart, a real testament to shoddy workmanship. the soundproofing was a joke. I could hear my neighbors' conversations, and the doors slamming all night kept me awake (i guess i should have brought earplugs?).

the staff was nice with warm greeting when i came back. the room was comfortable i was relaxed.

i stayed here in june 2024. there was no plan b in place though it was an excellent hotel. i couldn't get cold drinks or wine even though i payed premium rates for rooms.
